You Will Need (10 things)

  • Black Shrink Plastic or any colour you like
  • Circle Template to trace around - I used a coaster
  • Pencil or Pen
  • Scissors
  • Hole Punch
  • Compass
  • Paper for labels
  • Pritt Stick
  • Earring Studs
  • Jewelry Glue

Steps (11 steps, 25 minutes)

  1. 1

To make your earrings, you'll need some shrink plastic. If you want to be traditional use black, but feel free to get creative and use any kind you like. Mine had stars printed on it!

  2. 2

Trace around your circle template onto the shrink plastic twice.

  3. 3

    Cut these circles out.

  4. 4

Punch a hole into the middle of each circle.

  5. 5

Use the pointed edge of a compass to etch grooves around the circles like a record.

  6. 6

Heat in the oven until shrunk and flatten with a heavy book.

  7. 7

Cut small circles from paper or foil to make your mini records labels and stick onto the records.

  8. 8

Use the end of the compass to pierce the holes back in the middle.

  9. 9

Glue the earring studs onto the back of your records.

  10. 10

    Leave to dry.

  11. 11

    They're ready to wear!
