  • Step 1

    firstly cut a strip of record from the very middle of it- as this is the longest bit! although you may need to glue some more on like me!

  • Step 2

    now you need to bend it into shape! there are probably a million different ways to do this! but this is mine!

    1) boil some water and put your strip of record on top of a heat proof bowl

    2) once the water has boiled tip onto of the strip of record DO THIS OVER THE SINK! XD you shall see that your record dips into the bowl!

    3)using the hot water change the shape if it isnt quite right!

    4) try it on! if it is too short get another strip of record and glue that on to the hairband. dont worry if you can see the glue because we can cover that up with our record flower!

  • Step 3

    draw on the other peice of record a flower and a small circle- now cut that out! you will need sharp scissors for this

    now glue them together!

  • Step 4

    now all you need to do is glue the flower on!

    if you needed to add an extra bit on stick the flower on that to make it neater =)
    if you didn't then just stick it where you want it!

    let it dry and wear!

i used scissors- but it is a bit dodgy as you can accidentally chip bits off! but it you do find a better way be sure to let me know!

Great idea! What do you use when cutting the record in the first step?
