    BEANIE HAT Using 4.5mm hook and A, follow Steps 1–6 of Super Simple Beanie Hat pattern, adult (female) size. Fasten off and weave in ends. Join in C, ch2 (counts as first htr), 1htr in each st to end. Join with a ss in top of ch-2. (72 sts)Fasten off and weave in ends. Join in B, ch2 (counts as first htr), 1htr in each st to end.     SMALL FLOWERS (make 2 in C) Using 4mm hook and C, make a MR. Ch4 (counts as 1dc, 3ch), 1dc into MR, *ch3, 1dc into MR; rep from * 3 times. Pull MR closed. Do not join to beginning ch-4. You should have 5 ch sps and 5 dc. EDGING Join B to first ch-1 of any petal at centre of Large Flower, [ss in ch-1, 2dc in first htr, 1dc in next htr, 2dc in last htr, 1dc in ch-1, ss in ss] in each petal of centre ring, ss in same place as first ss. Edge each petal of next ring, [ss in ch-1, 2dc in first htr, 1dc in each htr to last htr of petal, 2dc in last htr, 1dc in ch-1, ss in ss] in each petal of next ring, ss in same place as first ss. Rep Step 2 three times. Fasten off, weave in ends.

    LEAVES (make 2 x stem colour D and main leaf colour E and 2 x stem colour E and main leaf colour D) Using 4mm hook and ‘stem colour’, ch9, miss first st, ss (loosely) in each ch to end. Fasten off and weave in ends. Using ‘leaf colour’ and working behind ss and into foundation ch made in Step 1, join yarn to ch at base of right hand side, ch1 (counts as first st), 1htr in next ch, 1tr in each of next 5 ch, 1htr in next ch, [1dc, ch1, 1dc] in last ch. Working behind ss and into foundation ch down other side, 1htr in next ch, 1tr in each of next 5 ch, 1htr in next ch, ch1, ss into base of first ch-1 from this round. Fasten off and weave in end

  7. DECORATE HAT Place the flowers and leaves onto one side of the hat as shown in the picture and sew into place. Sew a pink button to the centre of each flower.
