Thrifted hankies become lovely curtains!
I've been collecting vintage hankies for about three years. I finally had enough to make some curtains for my bathroom!

  • How to make a curtain/blinds. Vintage Hanky Curtains - Step 1
    Step 1

You'll need a good supply of hankies. You can order them online or find them on Ebay. Or thrift them like I did.

    Step 2

Pin them together and stitch at edges. Don't worry if they are all different sizes as this adds to the charm.

Sew four panels with a casing at the top to fit on the curtain rod. I didn't sew the panels together, rather left each one to float in the breeze. :)

    Hang & enjoy!

Smart idea, these look great.

I have a ton of little thrifted hankies and scarves lying around that I never know what to do with.
