You Will Need (11 things)
- 1 Vintage crystal Button Shank back
- Jewelry Glue
- 1 brass Bead Cap with prongs
- 1 Filigree Flower dapped
- 1 Filigree Flower flat
- 1 brass Filigree bar
- 6 in 22 gauge Jewellery Wire
- Flat Nose Pliers
- Round Nose Pliers
- Wire Cutters
- Ring mandrell
Steps (5 steps, 60 minutes)
-
1
Gather your materials. I used a combination of bright brass and antique brass, but you can use your choice of metals. Substitute a bead or a cabochon for the button if you like. You can also simply glue the whole assembly.
-
2
Slide the wire through the back of the button and place it in the bead cap. Carefully press the prongs against and around the button with pliers.
-
3
Press the wires down and slide through holes in the dapped flower filigree, then the flat flower filigree. Press the wire up against the filigree and make a small loop on each end. Press the loops close to the back of the filigree.
-
4
Wrap the filigree bar around a ring mandrell or a dowel. This ring will be adjustable.
-
5
Glue the flower assembly to the ring with jewelry glue.
