I had this jar (my dad had bought A LOT of cucumbers and they were into it) and I didn't want to get rid of it. So... here's how I reused it! PS: above there's the label I created. Feel free to use it or to make your own!
I had this jar (my dad had bought A LOT of cucumbers and they were into it) and I didn't want to get rid of it. So... here's how I reused it! PS: above there's the label I created. Feel free to use it or to make your own!
So, here's the jar.
Take the lid and, using a pencil, mark its shape on the paper.
Glue it on the lid. Cover with a layer of pva glue.
Make a "paper ribbon" with the striped paper and glue it on the lid sides. Add a layer of glue on it, too. Help yourself with the brush.
Let it dry for 2 hours, then you will add another coat of glue.
Glue the label on the jar. Add a coat of glue, let it dry, add another.
Clean the corners, some glue might have made the jar dirty.
Let it dry another 2 hour before use :) ps: you can't put it into water. If you want the label and the design to be stronger add other coats of glue.
