    cut your vest in a straightline down the front.
    fold the raw edge over twice...

    stitch!
    now...im super lazy...so i only stitched where i had the pins placed, but if you want, stitch it all the way along your folded edge.

    when i stitched the middle part i tugged it a little too hard, it made this cute little seashell looking design so i kept it that way!this is where ill be putting my closure.

    sew on your closures! i used snap buttons (was all i had handy!)make sure the female is on the inside and the male is on the outside or you will see where they come together when you connect them.

    cut any loose threads and voila!a fun layering piece!
