So this is my first attempt at actual pattern drafting. I started with a sketch I had made earlier this week and this is what came out of it. I don't really follow patterns that often so making my own pattern was interesting actually, I don't think my measuring tape has ever seen that much use. I dunno I don't normally follow most sewing rules but I did this time and a I even ironed my seams and I never do that. NEVER...normally I eyeball it all the time. So this is pretty epic for me. Unfortunately it look absolutely terrible on me so I gave it to my sister. The outside parts are and old pair of pants (corduroy) and then I lined it with some bed sheets scraps from when I made a circle skirt. I plan on adding some big black buttons to it, but for now I really like the safety pins. She wasn't around when I decided it was going to be hers so I put them there just to get an idea of how it would fit. And she's a little bit bigger than me so I couldn't just use my self. So yeah I don't know I'm actually really proud of this one. So any questions comments anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for readying my rather long winded explanation.
