I decided the whales would look really cool with water coming out of the blow holes so I did one that way and one like chocochica's original and put it on a necklace. I loveeeee it!
I decided the whales would look really cool with water coming out of the blow holes so I did one that way and one like chocochica's original and put it on a necklace. I loveeeee it!
From a good size ball of clay or however big you want your whale to be use that ball to make the shape of the right piece of clay in the photo.
Fold the smaller piece a little or a lot forward depending on your preference. :D
Make 2 tiny balls
Make whale fins for its tail. Basically the shape your did for the body but only flat.
Add it to the tail. A good way to know it its about right is if it looks like a mickey mouse head or just however you see fit :D
Roll of "pole" like this thick or thin depending on your whale and curl it and roll it in a way that looks like water.
Add it to the top of your whale with a tiny roll around it for the blow hole. And bake! or let it sit and dry if thats the kind of clay you have :D
And there you have it. Paint and do what you like with him.
I put my other small one thats like choco chica's original whales on a necklace.
