Vegetable Paella

Paella can be made using a variety of ingredients. Try using seafood, meat, tofu or a different selection of vegetables. Pine nuts would work perfectly. Use as many or as few ingredients as you like.

You Will Need (10 things)

  • 1 tsp Salt + Pepper
  • ½ cup Fresh or Frozen Peas
  • 5 cup Cooked Rice
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 x Onion(s)
  • 6 x Mushroom(s)
  • 1 x Carrot(s)
  • 4 tbsp Butter or 2tbsp Oil
  • ½ cup Kidney Beans
  • 1 cup of Canned Tomatoes + 2tsp Tomato Sauce

Steps (5 steps, 20 minutes)

    Heat some oil or melt some butter in a pan. Chop up the onion and carrot and cook until soft, add the mushrooms and cook until brown.

    Add the canned tomatoes and tomato sauce and stir together.

    Add the peas and stir together and add the kidney beans and stir until. Leave to cook for a few minutes.

    Season with paprika, salt and pepper.

    Add the rice, mix together and serve.
