Easy vanilla sugar
This is my super easy Vanilla Sugar recipe.
All you have to do is take your vanilla pod, cut it lengthwise, scrape out the seeds with the back of your knife and plop it into the sugar. Throw in the pod too while you're at it.
Then you just whisk it all together and store it in an airtight, condensation free, jar for anywhere between two and three weeks before using. You can use it right away, but you won't get the full effect of the Vanilla unless you wait and really let it infuse.
