This is a crumbly fudge.

Not quite tablet, not quite fudge.

It tastes sweet & delicious.

You Will Need (5 things)

  • 450 g Sugar
  • 400g Double Cream
  • 50g Butter
  • 1 tbsp Syrup
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla

Steps (8 steps, 60 minutes)

    Put sugar, cream, butter & syrup into pan.

    Heat to dissolve the sugar. Stir occasionally.

  3. 3

    Put in thermometer.

    Increase the heat to a steady boil.

    Keep boiling until 116 degree ( soft ball ).

    Remove pan from heat.

    Let sit in the pan for 5 mins until temperature reduces to 110 degrees.

    Stir in vanilla.

    Keep thermometer in pan & beat mixture until temperature reaches 60 degrees

  6. 6

    Remove thermometer & continue beating for a few more mins.

  7. 7

    Before it sets pour into the tin.

    Leave to set.

    DO NOT Refrigerate..

    Cut into squares.
