Cut out two small hearts that are the same size.

  3. Small valentine 015 1297035137

cut two small slits in the center of your heart that is large enough for your arrow to pierce through.

  4. Small valentine 017 1297035186

Next take your dowl rod, chop stick or whatever you're using and hot glue it between your two small hearts with the point sticking out.

  5. Small valentine 018 1297035324

    It should look like this.

  6. Small valentine 020 1297035488

Next take your tulle (if that's what you're using) and fold it up. Cut slits in the tulle so it is feather-like. If you're using feathers you don't need to worry about this.

Glue your tulle or feathers onto the other end of your arrow.

  8. Small valentine 022 1297035527

    Should look like this.

  9. Small valentine 025 1297035551

Next thread your arrow through the two slits you cut before.

  10. Small valentine 028 1297035611

Cut out a third medium sized heart and with your embroidery thread sew it onto the center of your heart over your slits. This should also allow you to position your arrow however you like.
