My design styles change with the wind, but I don't want to have to give up all of the great pieces that I've collected to date. So with our Master Bedroom renovation, I decided to repurpose some of my favorite lamps, into my new color palette.

Description

My design styles change with the wind, but I don't want to have to give up all of the great pieces that I've collected to date. So with our Master Bedroom renovation, I decided to repurpose some of my favorite lamps, into my new color palette.

Instructions

  1. Small 2014 02 25 184146 taping 20lamps small

Tape off all of the areas that you don't want painted with blue painters tape. I made sure and covered those areas really well. I didn't want any paint to sneak through in areas that I didn't want them - including down the cord.

  2. Small 2014 02 25 184210 spray 20painting 20lamps small

Spray paint away!! Remember to spray in nice, smooth coats so you have a beautiful finish with no runs. I ended up putting on three light coats on each lamp.

  3. Note: I would highly recommend only spray painting outside unless you have a spray booth. Because we're remodeling our second floor and it doesn't matter where the paint sprays, I spray painted inside.
