Reuse your glass jars to make something beautiful for your home!
Have you seen those pricey glass honey bears? I fell in love with them at first sight, but their price was far to steep for me! I happened to come across this glass honey bear that actually came with honey and decided to make my own and almost free fancy honey bear!

You can make this project with any clean jar, but if you have a glass honey bear it will even more amazing!

    Step 2

I really like a metallic craft paint for this, but any color will work. Pour enough paint into your jar so you can get it moving when you rotate the jar. Put the parchment paper down to protect your work surface and rotate your jar until the insides are covered in paint.

  • Step 3

When you're finished covering the insides of the jar, turn it upside down and set it in the middle of your parchment paper. Leave your jar sitting this way for about 24 hours, it will allow all the excess paint to completely drain out.

  • Step 4

When the paint has finished draining out of the jar, turn it right side up and let it dry for 24 hours, once it's dry it's ready to use! I use my honey bear for makeup brushes, but you can use it for anything that strikes your fancy!
