Super fun variation of the Rainbow Layer Cake!
Made this for my daughter's birthday after seeing the Rainbow Layer Cake. We've decided to call it the Unicorn Layer Cake ~ YAY!
SUPER EASY - just follow the directions on your cake mix (we used a vanilla cake mix) - distribute the mixed batter evenly into 3 bowls and add food coloring (make it a little darker than you want it to actually turn out) - cut out circles of parchment paper to line the pans and bake as directed - lay out to cool on racks - cut the tops of the cakes so they are flat - layer the cakes with frosting!
Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
