This is a costume commission that I finished in October. I started with a basic blazer and a plain pair of white pants. Then I bought some matching fabric and dismantled my base pieces. From there they were refashioned to be Uncle Sam approved. I worked on this off and on over a long period of time. Had i known what I was doing when I started, it would have gone much more quickly. --So there ya' go for the lengthy time estimate.
