Lose guitar/ukulele picks easy? Here’s a stylish solution
My friend and I play ukulele and we are constantly losing our picks. My friend suggested we make them into a necklace or bracelet. So I bought a bunch of colorful picks, used some wire from my stash, and used some glass beads I had lying around.

  • How to make a glass pendant. Uke Pick Jewelry - Step 1
    Step 1

Poke a hole in the top of a guitar pick. I used a hook from my knitting loom. Be careful. You don’t want to split the pick and/or your finger.

    Step 2

Thread a piece of wire through the hole you made and twist it a couple of times.

    Step 3

Thread the beads through the wire, and then wrap the wire around a pen, or in my case, the hook I used for poking the hole in the pick.

Trim the wire if necessary. I kept the loop up top large so you can slide it on and off the necklace (or bracelet).

Do you use the pick with the beads & wire in your hand? Very pretty, & a nice statement piece o on it's own. (I like the felt picks, myself)

Thank you! Yes, I use the pick with the wire and beads. If anything, it helps me hold onto it. The felt picks are nice. Maybe I’ll try that next. Post pictures if you make some jewelry!
