Felt coasters in leaf shapes
Do you need a way of sprucing up your dinner table for an upcoming holiday dinner? But you also don’t have a whole lot of time to dedicate to a new project? These felt coasters are for you, last-minute-crafter! :)

Double sided means endless combination of colors!

  • Step 1

    From your felt stash, choose 4 main and 4 complimentary colors for your coasters.

  • Step 2

    Using any scrap paper, preferably something somewhat sturdy, draw a large leaf design. When I draw a leaf, I tend to like one side better than the other. So, fold the leaf and use the half that you like better to make a perfect mirror for your leaf design (it’s a little trick I picked up!)

  • Step 3

    Using a gel pen, trace the design on all the felt pieces. Cut out pieces so they don’t include the pen border.

  • Step 4

    Using regular craft glue, adhere the two complimentary pieces. Voila, quick and minimalist coasters!

    Use washi tape to create the middle part for the leaf. You can also choose to embroider borders and the leaf veins.
