Turtle Shell Art

Wonderful paint job!! I've been wondering what to do with the turtle shells that my dogs bring to me-I'm just glad that they haven't brought me any with the turtle still alive inside of the shell!

Contrary to popular "Over The Hedge" movie belief... turtles cannot take their shells off.... so the shells she used are more or less their skeletons. It'd be nice to think there was little nekked turtles running around, but alas, lol. Those shells are awesome by the way!

I think some animal caught them and scooped them out of their shells, slurping them up.... ORRRRRRRRRRR They grew wings and learned to fly away..... XD

turtle don't leave their shells willingly. their shells our our ribs. do you willingingly leave your ribs behind? poor dead trtles

Haha, me too. I like to think they just crawled out and jumped into the pond with the frogs :]

I love the idea, but I can't help but feel bad for the turtles who lost their homes =(
