Instructions

  1. Small 2

Get your nail polish. I used a sky blue color with a pale green. I didn't feel like buying a turquoise polish so i tried to make my own :) The green isn't necessary, just blue would be fine. Oh and the sharpie will be used later!

I put a dab of green and the rest blue, and with the blue nail polish brush I blended it together.I put another coat of blue after this. I some of my nails with green and blue and some with just blue.

That's them all painted! You can see some nails are greenish and some aren't. That nail polish isn't that good, it's a bit streaky, but it won't be noticeable when you draw the pattern on! Wait for your nails to dry.

I took this picture after I had drawn on them. Oops. So that is the sharpie I used because I did't have the ultra fine tip, so just don't press too hard when you're making the lines. I'm sure the super fine point sharpie would work better, but this one works too!

  5. Small turquoise cabochon jewelry

Look at some pictures of turquoise for inspiration for the pattern! I got this image from <a href="http://www.1st-amethystjewelry.blogspot.com/2010/03/turquoise-jewelry.html">here</a>

But if that's not enough, what you're doing is just drawing squiggly lines connecting to each other. You can make them more circle-y, but that is just an example! Fill in some black at the bottom, or the top. P.S. do a better job than i did.

  7. Small 6 2

Put the clear coat and then you're all done! The marker might streak a little when you put the top coat, but it won't be very obvious or look bad. You could blow on them to make sure the marker is dry or try not to do too many strokes with the clear polish. The sharpie also won't "bleed" at the edges, the top coat prevents that! (: Enjoy your nail fabulousness!
