Description

Geometric nails are super easy to achieve. For this look, I have chosen to do two layers of randomly placed triangles.

Instructions

  1. Small 105772 2f2014 11 23 111026 dsc 0110

Apply two coats of your chosen colour for your base.

  2. Small 105772 2f2014 11 23 111032 dsc 0125

Before beginning this step, ensure that your nails are completely dry. Using striping tape (which can be purchased of eBay), place strips of the tape where you want your first set of triangles to go. If you have a steady hand you may be able to skip this step, but if you prefer clean, straight lines, striping tape is the way to go!

  3. Small 105772 2f2014 11 23 111044 dsc 0132

Carefully, with minimal nail polish paint inside the striping tape lines to create your triangles. While the nail polish is still wet, carefully pull off the tape.

Repeat the above steps for your second set of triangles.

Once you are happy with the look/number of triangles, apply a top coat to seal in your design.
