  • Step 1

    cut as many 2" equilateral triangles as you can from the scraps.

  • Step 2

    putting right sides together, stitch down and up the 'v' leaving the top open (top being the base of an upside down triangle).

  • Step 3

    Snip the point off and turn right side out.
    Iron flat.

  • Step 4

    Tricky part is to pin all the triangles in the bias binding.

  • Step 5

    Once pinned carefully machine stitch along the bias tape, making sure the triangles remain sandwiched between the tape.
