Treacle Sponge Pudding
Use a 1 lb Pudding bowl to cook this.
Moist & sweet.
Great served with ice cream or custard.
Mix together 3 tbsp golden syrup & lemon juice.
Pour into the bottom of dishes.
Cream together butter & sugar until light & creamy.
Add flour & treacle.
Gently fold in.
Cover the dishes with baking paper & foil.
Place in a pan with water & steam for 2 hrs.
Turn onto a plate & pour over the remaining 3 tbsp golden syrup.
