I love to collect items from my travels, but sometimes I’m not quite sure what to do with them once I return home. A figurine of Barcelona’s La Sagrada Família, a mini-statue of London’s Big Ben, a tiny-town version of the Arc de Triomphe—they wind up cluttering my desk and then ultimately crowding my drawers. That’s why I thought they deserved some extra TLC.

You will need

Jar (I used an old mustard jar, but mason and jam jars work, too!) Travel Figurine Strong Glue Glitter

I love to collect items from my travels, but sometimes I’m not quite sure what to do with them once I return home. A figurine of Barcelona’s La Sagrada Família, a mini-statue of London’s Big Ben, a tiny-town version of the Arc de Triomphe—they wind up cluttering my desk and then ultimately crowding my drawers. That’s why I thought they deserved some extra TLC.

Instructions

1. Remove lid from jar

2. Glue base of figurine to inside of lid

3. Once glue is dry, fill jar to the brim with water and shake in glitter

4. Screw lid back onto jar

5. Shake and enjoy Tip! If glitter looks clumpy at first, don’t fret. Give the sparkles a day or two to settle in the globe.
