I found this box at my local gas station. I just dusted it off a bit :)
Sand off all paint and rough edges.
Prime the area that you want to paint the blackboard paint on. I painted the outlines with some bright colours(south-african spelling ;)) and the insides with a primer.
I painted the words "speelgoed" which means toys around the upper part of the box. You can be creative here; paint your child's name, pictures, shapes, etc. Paints about 2 coats of the blackboard paint, more if needed. The same for the other parts of painted areas.
Now the fun starts. Start decorating!!! I used some foam stickers to stick on the blackboard areas. And I used a black marker to ouline the words.
The four sides of the toy box.
Watch him/her have fun!!!
