You Will Need (8 things)

  • Fabric/ Strong Glue
  • Black Embroidery Thread
  • Grey Thread
  • White Thread
  • White Felt
  • Black Felt
  • Grey Felt
  • 1 Button

Steps (12 steps, 60 minutes)

  1. 1

Cut out two rectangles of grey felt a bit bigger than your phone/tablet/laptop.

  2. 2

Out a belly out of white felt for your Totoro.
Make the width slightly larger than the felt you cut out in step 1.
Then sew the belly of to one of the grey rectangles.

  3. 3

Cut out 2 white felt circles and 2 small black felt circles for the eyes and a black felt nose. Then stick/sew them on.

  4. 4

Cut out 7 grey felt arrow heads for the markings on his stomach and then sew/stick them on.

  5. 5

Using the black embroidery thread stich on six whiskers. (Three on each side)

  6. 6

Cut out a tail and sew/stick that on the other grey rectangle.

  7. 7

Sew together (by hand or machine, your choice :) ) the sides you want on the outside facing each other.

  8. 8

Turn the case inside out so now it's the correct way around.

  9. 9

Push out the corners with your fingers or the back of a pen or pencil.

  10. 10

Sew on a button on the centre of the top of the back of the case.

  11. 11

Cut out a little grey rectangle and stick/sew it on the inside of the front of the case opposite to the button.

  12. 12

Pull the rectangle over to the button and cut a small slit in it large enough for the button to go through. This is for if the case is upside down your phone/tablet/laptop shouldn't fall out.
