I love big belts, but I have a problem finding one in the store, because their all too kitschy, and fall apart fast. So I made this belt, which is totally in my stile and recycled.

Description

I love big belts, but I have a problem finding one in the store, because their all too kitschy, and fall apart fast. So I made this belt, which is totally in my stile and recycled.

Instructions

  1. Small dsc01820 1265738809

Fuse plastic bags together,so you get the base for the belt.Make it long and wide as you want.I used black garbage bags. You have a great how to on how to fuse plastic bags on here, made by -Sarah wearing doodled on converse- ,just look it up.

  2. Small dsc01821 1265739076

Turn the fused belt around, get a circle shaped object(the size that you want your belt to be)and draw it around. If you make the other side of the belt white as I did,its much easyer.

You will get this, when your done.Dont forget to leave a strip on the beginning and end of the belt for the belt buckle. Cut the circles around, leaving out the part where the circles are touching.

  4. Small dsc01823 1265739484

You can use any other shape that you like. Put the studs on the belt. I had a cheap studded belt that was broken and i got the studs off.

  5. Small dsc01824 1265739608

Pull the buckle on the part that you left on the beginning and pierce it through.

  6. Small dsc01825 1265739745

fold it on the back of the belt.

  7. Small dsc01826 1265739817

    Sew it together.

  8. Small dsc01833 1265739881

Youll get this. Now make a few holes on the other end of the belt.
