Too Small Shirt Into A Lovely Jacket

It's an extra small? No problem!
My cousin gave me this lovely shirt. However it was an extra small which meant it was much to small for me. I could fit into it but it was not the most flattering piece as you can see from the before picture.
I didn't want to get rid of it though because of the lovely flower border

I felt my best option would be to turn it into a jacket.

The turtleneck came off and then was turned into a sort of collar. The leftovers went to making covered buttons and a little braid piece to connect the jacket.

I really enjoy how it turned out. =]
