The tomato was part of the decoration with our meal, and i thought i'd get crafty at the dinner table! I've since tried to make the tomato flower myself at home. However, i can never get it anywhere as cute as this one. If i manage to make a nice one myself, i'll post a pic :)

The tomato was part of the decoration with our meal, and i thought i'd get crafty at the dinner table! I've since tried to make the tomato flower myself at home. However, i can never get it anywhere as cute as this one. If i manage to make a nice one myself, i'll post a pic :)

Instructions

1. Place the tomato flower on a plate

2. Take two cucumber strips from the crispy duck pancakes platter. Use one as a stem Nibble the other one down to a smaller piece and add at a jaunty angle for a leave

3. Dribble a little hoisin sauce along the bottom to be your soil

4. Take a picture!

5. (OPTIONAL) Yell at your mother in law for eating your pretty (and delicious) creation :)
