An easy-peasy way to make a ghost garland
Okay, this is real easy, great for kids! Mine's pretty quick and simple, but there is so much more I am sure you creative types can do with this. :3

...and I am sure something like this is already out there, but hey whatever. :P

  • How to make a garland. Tissue Ghosties - Step 1
    Step 1

The stuff you will need, more or less depending on how much you want to make.

Tissue paper, cotton balls, thread. (Mine is embroidery floss)

  • How to make a garland. Tissue Ghosties - Step 2
    Step 2

Get a cotton ball, I rolled mine about a bit to make it rounder/firmer.

(you could also pull a couple cotton balls apart and roll them all together to make a bigger one, whatever works.)

  • How to make a garland. Tissue Ghosties - Step 3
    Step 3

Place in the middle of a couple pieces of tissue, like so.

( I tore uneven, hand sized squares)

    Step 4

Do that! But don't squish it or scrunch it too much.

  • How to make a garland. Tissue Ghosties - Step 5
    Step 5

Get your thread, or string, or ribbon...whatever you want to use... and tie it about the space under the covered cotton ball to form the head.

Don't wrap to tightly...or maybe you could. Do what works for you.

    Step 6

See? If you have really pretty ribbon or thick lace or string, you could make a bow or a noose. I just wanted something simple. Since this is just for me in my room. I cut off the excess after knotting.

    Step 7

Viola! Ghost! You can trim the bottom, leave it as is, throw paint on it, make a face...etc, etc. ;)

Though, I wanted to make 5 more, and string them on a ribbon. If you wanna see that, continue onward!

In my defense, this was the only marker within reach. >.>

No, you do not need a king size marker, but you will need a marker, or paint, or something to make ghosty faces.

  • How to make a garland. Tissue Ghosties - Step 9
    Step 9

Ah, I was always fond of the Moanalisa!

    (sorry, lame joke)

On a side note...don't use anything that will bleed, I messed up on 3 because the ink bled. lol

Well, if you desire a bloody ghost, or an ecto plasmy ghost, go for it.

  • How to make a garland. Tissue Ghosties - Step 10
    Step 10

I used one of these...needle things (the name escapes me at the moment)

and thread it with some old, rejected halloween ribbon. You could just use your hands though.

  • How to make a garland. Tissue Ghosties - Step 11
    Step 11

What I did here, is just 'sew' the ribbon though the thread about the ghosts' neck. Then I knot it, and continued stringing the other 5 ghosts in the same fashion.

And that is it. ;) Feel free to message me if you have questions.
