cute way to recycle cupcake or chocolate tins
I had some tin chocolate contains and thought they were to cute to throw away, so I up-cycled them!

    CLEAN AND FLATTEN. If you are using a cupcake tin, I suggest you clean it first. Then with your fingers, carefully pull the sides apart to pull out the pleating. continue to flattening until it can't anymore.

    CUT THE SPIRAL. Like other paper flowers, cut a spiral shape. You can draw it first if you want, but free-handing works as well since it doesn't have to be neat.

    IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS.

    ROLL IT UP. Starting from the end, roll toward the center to form the rose shape, making sure the bottom is always flush. Wrap the middle circle around the bottom to secure it. Since it's metal, there is not need for glue, although you can use hot glue for extra security.

  • Step 5

    BEND THE PETALS. Bend the edges away from the center in different spots to give it that petal shape. There is no rhyme or reason, just whatever looks good.
