I made this skirt using Cal Patch's Design-It-Yourself book. Was really fun and easy to make:) p.s. my making time is so long cos i drafted the pattern, made the skirt and then dyed it :P

I made this skirt using Cal Patch's Design-It-Yourself book. Was really fun and easy to make:) p.s. my making time is so long cos i drafted the pattern, made the skirt and then dyed it :P

Instructions

1. Sew the skirt. Any skirt. As long as you use a light fabric.

2. Okay this skirt has a chevron stripe pattern (or is ment to :P) So fold it vertically.

3. then fold down the top by 45°. keep accordion folding all the way down. Then get you string and wrap and know it very tightly at equal intervals around the "roll" aka the skirt.

4. Prepare your dye then dye it according to your instructions.

5. rinse rinse rinse then you can cut off the string, rinse more...then let dry..

6. 

   Tadaaa!! enjoy your fab skirt :D
