Three Tiers For My Mother In Law

Three-tiers, get it?...I'll show myself out.

This was my first tiered cake ever, and I was so pleased with how it turned out. I decided to go with orange ombre roses because the orange fit well with the flavour I was trying to achieve for the cake. Specifically, that was my mother in law's favourite fruit, persimmon/sharon fruit. I made my own persimmon jam filling from scratch and dried some persimmon fruit flowers to put on the cake. The topper is made from normal fondant and I had my sister in law write the Korean on there as a personal touch. Also, I couldn't find orange sugar pearls anywhere, so I actually had to hand dip white ones in orange food colouring!
