Thread Lettering On Paper

Making words on paper using thread/string

https://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/thread-lettering-on-paper • Posted by Ira D.

I made a "scale" on paper using string for the forming of the letters. This is something I did a while ago, but I find it quite easy and the result looks very pretty! The Light side is the positive side of the scale, while the darker letters represent the more negative side. Of course you can use this technique for whatever you want! Make sure the pieces of string you use to form a word are long enough, you can always cut off excess, but adding on extra thread/string just doesn't look equally good. Glue the form of the letters on paper, then just trace it using the string/thread. Please let me know if you've made this, I'd love to see your results! (P.S. ask me anything!) (P.P.S. everything is in Dutch :)
