My beautiful crochet-made wool blanket!
It's "Spanish" because I've done it when I lived in Barcelona... It took me more than a month of work, bot it totally woth it!!

  • How to stitch a knit patchwork blanket. The Spanish Blanket - Step 1
    Step 1

    This is the first part that I've made. The technique is very simple: you crochet some granny-squares, a lot of them, and then you join them, the way you like. For the first square I always choose to do it the bigger I can (for example, the green one in this picture is made of 18 rounds): this way I see how to mix the colours, and how much thread needs every round.

With the crochet, making single stitches through each of the 2 parts' board. I hope somebody already posted an how to join squares, because I wouldn't know how to explain it, sorry!
