I took a maid of honor dress I knew I'd never need again, and reformed it! I left the basic shape of it, so I wouldn't have to recreate the bustier portion of the dress, but I trimmed, opened, and added in area's as I chose.
My sister, who is a photographer, did a photo shoot with me at a local museum, hence the beautiful backgrounds in the photographs :)
With a few fun props (the red umbrella, and a beautiful fan), and a great setting, the project really became a complete success!
