If I ever get a guitar, first thing I'll do is glue my Pokemon cards onto it. ; u ;
Though I will feel crushed giving up my cards!D:

I'm sure it'd work fine, as long as you varnish the heck out of it. Or stick some thin clear plastic on top, which would make it more durable

omg! thank you XD i have a guitar and its kinda boring and i have TONS of cards(World Of Warcraft,Pokemon,Bella Sara,Harry Potter) Im so going to do this. do you think this would work on the bottom of a sk8board?

Embarrassingly, it still hasn't been restrung or played properly yet, faily boyfriend that he is But from what I've heard through tinkering, the sound hasn't been affected to a noticeable degree. Saying that, the effect on an uke may be more pronounced as it's smaller? Personally, I wouldn't try this out on any precious instrument, the guitar I used was a cheap second hand find. Hope this helps

Naw, I had a look at similar guitars on ebay, and they were pretty worthless. It was a bit banged up before I started, so I wasn't too worried about covering it in glue and cards

Hank, I raided my brother's old deck and made sure he had at least four of each card before I snaffled them, if that's any consolation And thanks for the great comments everybody, they're much appreciated

I haven't quite finished it yet, planning to varnish it, but will probably test out on some spare cards first because I've heard some varnishes seep into the card and mark it. I'll let you know

Ah-mazing! If only my boyfriend loved Pokemon enough to allow me to do this to his guitar. What sort of sealant did you put on this?
