Do you ever have a silly idea that just won’t leave your brain until it’s been created?

Meet my latest refashionista-brain-worm:

An overall-lace-maxi-dress that turned out waaaay more amazing than I ever could have imagined!

Here’s how to make one for yourself:

  • How to sew a lace dress. The Overall Lace Maxi - Step 1
    Step 1

    Grab a pair of overall shorts (or regular overalls) & a large lace table cloth (mine had some stubborn stains that a bath in pink dye took care of nicely)

    chop the bib off of the overalls just under the waistband

    stitch the tablecloth into a long tube

    chop to your desired length & gather or pin tuck the right side of the tablecloth tube to the inside of the overall bib waistband

    stitch together
