And probably the cheapest... all you need is some leftover fabric.
I had some leftover fabric from another project, so I ended up making this. :o)
It's a perfect beginner sewing project, as it requires only little sewing, and if you don't have a sewing machine, you can also handsew it! :o) (although sewing with machine makes it more durable, if you have a dog with destructive habits... :D)

  • How to make a pet toy. The Most Simple Dog Toy - Step 1
    Step 1

First of all, take your leftover fabric. It can be of any shape, size, as long as it's enough to make a toy that is not easy to swallow.

(yup, it's impossible to work on anything without my dog stepping on it... :D)

Cut out two shapes. No matter what shape, whatever fits the fabric. As I was just experimenting with this, I just used rectangles.

    Step 5

Stuff the toy as much as you want. You can even leave out this and the previous step if you think the toy doesn't need to be harder.

Leva at least 3 centimeters of space at the top, for the next step!

Fold in the sides the way you can see in the picture.

Sew it, play a little with the stuffing to make it even, and you have yourself and your pet a new dog toy! :o)

    Have fun playing! :o)

Her name is Pamacs (a very common name in my country for dogs, it means something like Fluffy). I didn't give this name to her, i got her when she was one and a half year old. Happy

That's a really nice and simple project! What's your dog's name? He (or she, sorry) is so adorable!
