Baby Blanket
My best friend was about to become mum and I wanted to make the most beautiful blanket in the world for her and her baby!
So, this is what I came with and seems that both of them love it :)

You Will Need

Step 1First I crocheted 20 pink hearts.
Here is a link with 25+ free & easy crochet heart patterns:

Step 2Then I chose a different yarn color (withe) and crocheted around each heart, trying to make a granny squares.

Step 3I decided to change colors (light green) on the second row and definitely it started looking more like granny squares.

Step 4I crocheted a third row with a darker color and the last row (the fourth) before joining all the granny squares in yellow.
And that's it! It took me forever to finish this blanket but I enjoy it very much doing it :)
I hope to inspire many of you to do something special for someone special.
1 tip: If you'd done the white in the back loop of the pink hearts, they would have popped out even more. ;)
