We were invited to an Alice In Wonderland themed surprise party at the weekend, so I made a teapot top hat for Tom and a teacup fascinator for myself so we could be the perfect tea pouring couple!

    Step 1

Start by making the card base for your top hat. I traced around a large dinner plate onto the card as it was the perfect size for my hat.

    Step 5

Cut a rectangle wide enough to fit around the circumference of the middle circle and about 7" tall. Score a line 1/2" from the top and 1/2" from the bottom.

I didn't have a piece of card wide enough, so I used two.

Cut little slits all the way along the top and bottom of the hat, stopping at the scored lines.
