Description

Making a fashionable bracelet couldn't be easier! Using thick elastic cord and beautiful beads, you can create a unique piece, and best of all, you don't have to worry about those knots coming apart!

Instructions

  1. Small 2014 04 02 120107 elastic 20bracelets 20033

Assemble your supplies. I'm using 1mm Stretch Magic cord. Just make sure it can go thru your beads.

  2. Small 2014 04 02 120454 elastic 20bracelets 20035

Cut a piece of stretchy cord aprox. 14 to 18" long.

  3. Small 2014 04 02 120641 elastic 20bracelets 20040

String your beads onto the cord, long enough to go around your wrist. How big you want it is up to you.

  4. Small 2014 04 02 120935 elastic 20bracelets 20048

Tie a square knot to hold your bracelet together.Tugging from the ends and the beaded part, make sure your knot is secure. You can add another square knot if you wish.

  5. Small 2014 04 02 121248 elastic 20bracelets 20049

Tie a french knot or double knot aprox. 1" to 1 and 1/2 " on your cord. Make sure your knot is large enough to stop your tassel beads.

  6. Small 2014 04 02 121558 elastic 20bracelets 20069

Tie a double knot or french knot at the end of your tassels, making sure your beads can't slide off. Trim your ends. You can add a spot of glue on your knots if you like.
