This shirt was too small, and the stool was too blah, and so with some silver ribbon and the tee shirt, i re-covered the stool and made it awesomer :) i loveee koi fish. The only thing is that i lost my staple gun, so i used thumbtacks. Bad idea. It's not THAT bad, but sometimes they poke me through the plywood and tee shirt and hurt a bit :/ So if you're going to do anything like this, use a staple gun. For your butt's sake.

The only thing is that i lost my staple gun, so i used thumbtacks. Bad idea. It's not THAT bad, but sometimes they poke me through the plywood and tee shirt and hurt a bit :/ So if you're going to do anything like this, use a staple gun. For your butt's sake.

Instructions

  1. (If your stool has them) Flip the stool over and unscrew the screws. That should allow the top part of the stool to come off.

  2. It probably has fabric on it already, so remove that.

  3. Get your t-shirt, and using the top part of the stool (mine was a piece of plywood, but that's what you get when you buy cheap stools made in china from claire's) as a pattern, trace a circle. Then cut it out, but leave about an inch for the width and stuff.

  4. Lay the circle face down, and put the top part of the stool face down on top of it. pull the sides of the circle over the back of the top part, and staple it (or thumbtack it) with a staple gun.

  5. Put it back onto the base of the stool, and screw it back on.

  6. Done! Enjoy :)
