Based on T Shirt Shrug by EVEnl
This was my first project made from co&k. First I made it exactly as the instructions said, but it created a lot of bunched up fabric above my "lady-parts", so I altered it a just a skosh. Other gals like myself out there in Craft-y-Land might fing this helpful. After undoing the casing seam and pressing it out flat again I:

(1) cut an angled piece from the center front hem up to the shoulder seam, at the neck. (This removes the corner turn at the front center neckline when making your 1" casing in the original instructions.) Take the two triangle pieces, hold at each end lengthwise and give them a tug to make them longer and curled up. These will be your ties you will attach soon. I pressed and then sewed a 1" casing from the hem, around the back of the neck and back down the front again. (You do not need to turn under the raw edge or do anything to finish this edge. Easy as pie!)

(2) I used a 3/8-1/2 inch wide piece of elastic in the casing instead of ribbon. (I have scads more elastics on hand than ribbons and I prefer the softness of it around the back of my neck in this project.)

(3) After finding the right length of elastic to make the shape that looked best, I stitched the elastic in place at the open ends of the casing and then stitched the broader ends of the two triangles over the elastic ends, then stitched the casings closed.
