This is super simple and awful cute. The best part is it's entirely up to interpretation, depending on how long/thin/abstract/fringy you want it to be!

Description

This is super simple and awful cute. The best part is it's entirely up to interpretation, depending on how long/thin/abstract/fringy you want it to be!

Instructions

  1. Small photo on 2012 02 05 at 15.56 2

Grab a pair of scissors and an unwanted t-shirt.

  2. Small photo on 2012 02 05 at 15.56

Figure out how long you want your scarf and fringes to be, then draw a line across the bottom of the t-shirt. I measured up about 8 inches.

    Cut along said line.

  4. Small photo on 2012 02 05 at 15.57

Chop off the bottom hem, then put it aside for a future project :)

Figure out how long/thick you want the fringes to be, then start cutting! I chose to leave about 3 inches for the actual scarf, though the thinner the scarf, the more accessory-like this project will be!

Once all of the strips are cut, start pulling! This will round the edges and lengthen the fringes.

Final step: stretch the entire scarf, and you're done! I prefer to double-wrap it, but lady's choice ;) If you're super lucky, it will match your pjs!
