Cut Out + Keep

T Shirt Pot Holder

Can YOU ketch-up to these 6 layers of T-shirt Madness!?

I had a T-shirt from my buddy. I wanted to alter it into a one-shoulder tank top.... but it didn't go so well. So, I cut out the design, then five more pieces of the same size and shape. Putting those aside, I made strips out of the scraps, tied those together to form yarn, and grabbed a crochet hook and an embroidery scissor. Using the super-pointy and sharp embroidery scissor to poke holes in the fabric, I crocheted the t-shirt yarn through those holes to bind the 6 layers of t-shirt together. Voila! I haven't tested it out yet, so I don't know it's actual heat resistance. I guess I'll have to bake some cookies to find out!
