You Will Need (6 things)

  • One seasoned Sweater / sweatshirt
  • A half cup of vintage Button(s)
  • An old Ribbon , or strip of fabric
  • One Scissors
  • One Needle
  • A teaspoon of Thread

Steps (7 steps, 45 minutes)

  1. 1

Look in the hidden corners of your closet, and find that old, neglected sweatshirt that you haven't worn in years.

  2. 2

Lay it down flat and cut off the sleeves, collar and carefully cut out the front and sides as shown in the diagram.

  3. 3

Open up the front center and cut three small horizontal slits for eyelets.

  4. 4

Sew on three buttons to fit in the eyelets you just cut and attach all of the other buttons for decoration.

  5. 5

Sew the ribbon around the collar and cut off the ends.

  6. 6

Cut slits in the back and add two buttons as shown for the sharp tuxedo look!

  7. 7

    All done!
