I'm really happy with the way this turned out. I'm not much of a sewer but it looks really good, and everyone's like "It looks like something you'd buy in a store ZOMG." So yeah, that's gratifying. I used some synthetic leather i bought from an etsy shop and my sewing machine was freaking out so i used a strap from a purse that i already had.
