Description

I made this initially as a shampoo/hair mask. However, the simple mixture works heavenly as a face/body scrub. Give it a go!

Instructions

  1. Small amlapwd

First off, assemble your ingredients. Make sure you have a small jar to contain your mixture! -Amla powder comes from the Indian gooseberry. It is popularly used in shampoos, conditioners and hair oils. What makes it an excellent multipurpose product especially for the skin is that it is extremely high in vitamin C (among other things).

  2. Small jar

Dump 3/4 a cup of Amla powder into your jar. Follow with 1/2 cup of hot water and stir. Add 1/4 a cup of rosewater and stir again. Finally, add 1/4 a cup of honey. If the mixture is too thick (it should be slightly more runny than a paste), add hot water accordingly and stir. Add a teaspoon of EVOO or coconut oil.

  3. Small amla3

Tightly screw your lid on, and leave the mixture to sit overnight.

  4. Small henna hair

After the mixture has sat, you will be able to use it for all it's purposes! Body Scrub: When in the shower, spread he scrub around your body using circular motions. Allow the substance to sit on your skin for as long as possible. Scrub/Mask: Use this as a facial scrub for glowing skin! Rub gently on your face and leave on for up to twenty minutes for a great boost! Shampoo/Mask: Apply generously to hair and leave on for up to an hour. Rinse out thoroughly, using conditioner to make removal easier. For an extra Indian kick, massage a tiny bit of coconut oil into your hair when you step out of the shower.
